iCANSports helps people find sports and recreation facilities across Canada. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Information We Use

The app can use your approximate or precise location, if you grant permission, to centre the map and sort nearby facilities by distance. Location permission is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings.

The app displays facility information such as names, addresses, contact details, hours, amenities, pricing notes, and sports offered. This information comes from public sources, municipal open data, Google Places, and curated listings.

Information We Do Not Sell

iCANSports does not sell personal data. The app does not require an account to search facilities, save favourites, or browse listings.

Location Data

Your location is used on your device for nearby search, map positioning, and distance sorting. iCANSports does not store your precise location on our servers.

Advertising and Measurement

iCANSports may show ads using Google Mobile Ads. If tracking permission is requested and you allow it, your device advertising identifier may be used to show more relevant ads and measure ad performance. You can deny or change this permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Firebase and Service Providers

iCANSports uses Firebase and Google services to provide app infrastructure, facility data, maps, and advertising. These providers process data under their own policies and service terms.

Facility Data Accuracy

Facility details can change without notice. iCANSports provides listings for informational convenience only and encourages users to contact venues directly before visiting.
